Day 1: Transfer to Arusha
Welcome to Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s untouched natural treasures! Your journey begins with your arrival at Arusha Airport, where our friendly team will greet you and transfer you to your accommodation in the city. Arusha is not only a charming city with lively markets and rich culture, but also the ideal starting point for your safari adventures.
Day 2: Arusha - Karatu
After a hearty breakfast, we set off on a scenic drive to Karatu. This quiet town on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape and is a popular destination for nature lovers. On the way there you can already admire the lush vegetation and the majestic mountains of the Great Rift Valley.
Day 3: Exploring Ngorongoro Crater
Today there is an absolute highlight on the program – the Ngorongoro Crater. This extinct volcanic crater is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, buffalo, lions and hippos. During our full-day safari in the crater you will have the unique opportunity to observe these fascinating animals in their natural environment and enjoy the breathtaking landscape.
Day 4: Drive to Serengeti
After a delicious breakfast, we set off for the central Serengeti, a true jewel of African wildlife. On the way there we pass picturesque villages and untouched landscapes before reaching the endless expanses of the Serengeti. Here we have the chance to see the famous “Big Five” as well as numerous other animal species such as cheetahs, giraffes and zebras. Our experienced guides will take you to the best viewing points to spot wildlife and take breathtaking photos.
Day 5: Continue to the northern Serengeti
Our safari takes us further to the northern Serengeti, where we can experience the impressive Great Migration. This spectacular natural spectacle, in which millions of wildebeests and zebras move through the savannah in search of fresh pasture, is an absolute highlight of every Tanzania safari.
Day 6 & 7: Adventure in the Northern Serengeti
We spend the next two days exploring the wonders of the Northern Serengeti. We embark on exciting game drives and have the opportunity to experience the amazing wildlife of this region. From majestic lions to elegant gazelles, there is so much to discover here!
Day 8: Farewell to the Serengeti, flight to Zanzibar
After thoroughly enjoying the beauty of the Serengeti, it’s time to say goodbye. We fly from Kogatende Airstrip to Zanzibar, where a different kind of adventure awaits us – sun, sand and the azure waters of the Indian Ocean.
Day 9-13: Explore and relax in Zanzibar
The next few days are dedicated to exploring and relaxing on the stunning island of Zanzibar. After our arrival, you will immerse yourself in the fascinating old town of Stone Town, explore historical sights and be enchanted by the exotic smells and sounds of the city. In the following days you will enjoy pure relaxation on the white sandy beaches, explore the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling or diving and have the opportunity to discover traditional villages and the island’s rich culture. No matter what activities you choose, one thing is certain: the beauty and diversity of Zanzibar will remain in your memory for a long time.
Day 14: Return home
You begin your journey home with many unforgettable memories in your luggage. Zanzibar airport is the starting point for our return to reality, but the memories of your safari and time on this fascinating island will remain in your heart forever.
