Location and Surroundings
Jambiani is a quiet village on Zanzibar’s south-east coast. The beach has white sand, the village streets lined with palm trees. You stay directly on the sand or just a few steps away. Local restaurants and small cafés are nearby, as are providers of excursions to the reefs and sandbanks off the coast or to Jozani Forest. Life in the village follows a quiet rhythm, and you experience more of the island’s everyday life than in a secluded resort. From Zanzibar airport the journey is around 55 kilometres.
You can find further accommodation in this region and on the rest of the island at the lodges in Zanzibar.
Rooms and Facilities
The villas and apartments have 1 to 3 bedrooms and offer space for up to 52 guests in total. Each unit has its own kitchen, a living area and a terrace or balcony. Depending on the category, a private pool or direct beach access is added. The furnishings are bright and modern, with African accents. With your own kitchen you are independent and can cater for yourself, but you do not have to: the property’s restaurant is there when you do not want to cook.
The property includes a restaurant, a communal pool and bicycle hire, so you can explore the village and the coast independently. Breakfast is available as a buffet or à la carte, and it is served at Kati Kati, the central site. On request, the local team organises excursions, for example to the reefs off the coast or to Jozani Forest.
