Location and surroundings

The resort lies in Kendwa on the north-west coast of Zanzibar on a 50-acre estate with tropical gardens and its own stretch of beach. The drive from the airport takes around one hour and 15 minutes.

Nkoaranga Orphanage

The Nkoaranga orphanage at the foot of Mount Meru has existed since 1997; around 30 children up to the age of three live there with 12 carers. Instead of a fixed contribution, Wildfinder Safaris regularly buys supplies for the orphanage: groceries, toiletries and similar items.
