Location and surroundings
The lodge lies on the shore of Lake Masek in the Ndutu region. The drive to the Ngorongoro Crater takes around one hour. Ndutu Airstrip is four, Kusini Airstrip six and Seronera Airstrip 80 km away. From Arusha it is 257 km or around five hours. The lodge is open all year round. From December to April the region is shaped by the Great Migration.

Rooms and facilities
The lodge has 30 spacious tents on wooden platforms with en-suite bathrooms and outdoor showers: Suite Rooms for two to three guests and Interconnected Rooms for four to five guests; the family tent consists of two connected tents. Facilities include a pool, Wi-Fi, campfire, solar power, rainwater harvesting, 24-hour electricity, laundry service and a terrace with lake views. Meals are on a full-board basis with drinks included.
