Location and Surroundings
The lodge sits on a hillside above Lake Manyara National Park. From the suites and the main area you look across the savannah to the lake and far into the Rift Valley; in the evening you can watch the sunset. The surroundings are quiet and green, yet you are quickly in the park: the drive to the entrance takes about 15 minutes. Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater are each around an hour away and are good for excursions. The drive from here to the Serengeti takes about two and a half hours.

Rooms and Facilities
You stay in one of ten free-standing suites. Each suite has a large bathroom, an outdoor shower and a seating area. Your private terrace offers views across the savannah. The design combines natural materials with clean, modern forms, so the suites blend into the hillside.
In the main area of Mawe Mawe Manyara Lodge you will find the restaurant, bar and a lounge with a fireplace. Meals are on a full-board basis and are served in the open restaurant. After the game drive you sit by the fireplace or on the terrace, and the pool overlooks the valley. In the evening you meet the other guests at the bar and talk about the day in the park.
