Location and surroundings
Meliá Serengeti Lodge lies slightly elevated in the central Serengeti, not far from the Seronera river valley. From the lodge, views stretch far across the open savannah. The area around Seronera is one of the richest wildlife regions in Tanzania and offers good conditions for game viewing all year round. Well-known game-drive routes and vast plains lie right on the doorstep, so there is no need for long drives to reach the wildlife. Seronera Airport is 36 km from the lodge; from Arusha it is 335 km.
