Location and surroundings
Moivaro Lodge lies around seven kilometres outside Arusha, surrounded by tropical vegetation. From the property you have a beautiful view of Mount Meru. Despite the peace and quiet, the town is within easy reach. The lodge is well suited as a base for safaris in northern Tanzania or for treks. It is 23 kilometres to the gate of Arusha National Park and around 17 kilometres to Arusha Airport, a drive of about 35 minutes. Kilimanjaro Airport is 45 kilometres away, a drive of around an hour.

Rooms and facilities
The 40 rooms are in brick cottages with traditional roofs. There are also family rooms and a private house. Each cottage has a private bathroom, a fireplace, mosquito nets, a ceiling fan and a desk. The beds can be set up as singles or doubles. Every cottage has a private veranda overlooking the greenery. The restaurant, the pool set among tropical trees and coffee plants, and the spa are located in the extensive gardens. You can explore the grounds along a walking path.
