Location and Surroundings
The camp lies in the northern Serengeti near Kogatende, close to the Mara River. Between July and October, large herds of wildebeest and zebra cross the river here. The surrounding landscape consists of open plains, gentle hills and watercourses and is a rich habitat for predators and other wildlife. From the Kogatende Airstrip you reach the camp after a drive of around 25 minutes. Thanks to the secluded location in the north of the park, you are particularly close to the river crossings of the migration.
You can find further accommodation in this region of the Serengeti on the lodges in the northern Serengeti page. For information about the protected area the camp is in, see Serengeti National Park.

You stay in a spacious tented suite on a wooden platform. Each tent has its own bathroom with a rain shower, comfortable beds and a veranda overlooking the bush. Warm colours and natural materials characterise the furnishings. The camp has twelve tents that can be booked as king, twin, triple or family tents, plus an additional family tent.
The communal area includes a dining tent with indoor and outdoor seating, a cosy open-air lounge and a fire pit for evenings under the starry sky. The camp is on a full-board basis. The entire property is run on environmentally friendly solar power.
