Location and surroundings
The Mora Zanzibar is located at Muyuni Beach near Matemwe on the north-east coast of Zanzibar, directly on a long beach of fine sand. From the resort you look out over Mnemba Island, which, according to the resort, is around 5 minutes away by boat. Snorkelling and diving in the waters around Mnemba Island, according to the resort some of the best diving spots in Zanzibar, and spice tours in the hinterland are good excursion options. It is 56.4 kilometres to Abeid Amani Karume Airport, and the drive takes around 60 minutes.
