Location and surroundings
The Zawadi Hotel Zanzibar stands on a cliff above the Indian Ocean, near Michamvi on the south-east coast. From the property you look far out across the water. A small staircase leads down to a secluded beach that, depending on the tides, invites you to swim or stroll. The surroundings are quiet and green, with little development. Excursions take you to Jozani Forest or to Chwaka Bay, for example. The journey from Zanzibar Airport takes around an hour.
