Day 1: Arrive in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our team. Your exciting safari begins in Arusha, a charming city at the foot of the majestic Mount Meru. After checking into the hotel, you can relax and prepare for the adventure that awaits you in the coming days.
Day 2: Departure for Tarangire National Park
Today your safari begins with an exciting drive to Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem of Tanzania. The park is known for its impressive landscape, characterized by giant baobab trees and the picturesque Tarangire River. During an extended game drive you will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife including herds of elephants, lions, leopards, zebras and giraffes.
Day 3: A full day in Tarangire
Today we have a full day adventure in Tarangire National Park. This gives you the opportunity to explore the beauty and diversity of this unique ecosystem at your leisure. Watch elephants congregate at the waterholes as you drive through the park’s scenic landscapes and enjoy breathtaking views of the African wilderness.
Day 4: Continue to Karatu
After two exciting days in Tarangire National Park, you make your way to Karatu, a picturesque village on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater. Along the way, you can enjoy Tanzania’s fascinating landscape and get to know the local communities that live along the route.
Day 5: Visit Ngorongoro Crater
Today’s itinerary is the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural crater of breathtaking beauty and diversity. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an impressive variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos and rhinos. During a full-day tour, you’ll have the opportunity to explore this amazing ecosystem and experience incredible wildlife sightings.
Day 6: Drive to the central Serengeti
Our safari takes us further into the legendary Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous game reserves in the world. On the way you can already experience the endless plains and the infinite expanse of the African savannah. Upon arrival, we will embark on an exciting game drive to explore the rich wildlife of the Serengeti.
Day 7: Full day safari
Today we explore the fascinating wildlife and breathtaking landscape of Serengeti Central. This part of the park is known for its large herds of animals and the spectacular wildebeest migrations during the Great Migration. Look out for lions, leopards, cheetahs and other predators roaming the savannah in search of prey.
Day 8: The vastness of the Serengeti in all its glory
Our safari takes us further to the western Serengeti, known for its lush vegetation and diverse wildlife. During your game drive you will have the opportunity to explore the untouched nature and observe an abundance of wildlife including elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras and much more.
Day 9-10: Great Migration up close
We spend the next two days exploring the pristine beauty and abundant wildlife of the Western Serengeti, which during this time offers a spectacular spectacle: the Great Migration. Millions of wildebeest, zebras and other ungulates traverse the western corridor in search of fresh grass and water. This annual natural spectacle is one of the most impressive animal migrations in the world and offers the opportunity to experience this impressive phenomenon up close. During our game drives we have the chance to observe the endless herds accompanied by predators hunting for easy victims. These days are filled with unforgettable animal encounters and the beauty of the African wilderness, making your safari an unforgettable adventure.
Day 11: Departure from the natural paradise
With many unforgettable experiences in our luggage and a heart full of adventure, we begin our return journey from the Grumeti Airstrip to Arusha. From there you continue to JRO Airport, where you say goodbye to this unforgettable safari and fly home with a smile on your face.
