Our story begins – like many safari dreams – with dusty tires, vast plains and wide eyes. We, Julia and Daniel, sit excitedly in the open jeep, camera ready to shoot, binoculars still upside down. And at the wheel: Francis – our guide, animal whisperer and calming influence in a world full of wonder. What is meant to be a one-off trip becomes a turning point. Francis doesn’t show us Tanzania like a travel guide, but lets us immerse ourselves: in the soft light of the savannah in the morning, in the deep growling of the lions at night, in the rhythm of nature. This intense time leads to a genuine friendship and a shared idea. Together with Francis’ wife Happyness, whose name says it all, Wildfinder Tours & Safaris grew: a local safari provider in Tanzania that creates honest experiences – sustainable, warm and with a keen sense for people and moments.

Francis “The Eagle” – The Animal Whisperer with an Eagle Eye
Francis is co-founder of Wildfinder and an experienced safari guide & tour planner in Tanzania. With over 15 years of experience, he knows the wilderness of his home country like no other. His eagle eyes have earned him the nickname “The Eagle” for good reason, as he can spot a wildebeest at 800 meters while you can’t even see it with binoculars. But it’s not just his knowledge that impresses: Francis’ warmth, humor and passion make every safari a special experience. As a true Tanzania specialist, he ensures that your trip is not only well planned, but also guided from the heart.
Daniel – The Safari Visionary with Foresight
Daniel is a co-founder of Wildfinder and a true safari specialist with a deep love for nature. His first trip to Tanzania was the beginning of a life-changing connection to the African wilderness. Since then, Tanzania has become not just a place, but a feeling for him. Whether wildlife watching, conservation or individual route planning, Daniel brings experience, enthusiasm and a keen sense for special safari moments. With his commitment to preserving natural habitats and his eye for detail, he makes authentic adventures possible. And when he says “We make it happen”, he means it.
Happyness – The Voice of Warm Welcome
Happyness is the co-founder of Wildfinder and the quiet force in the background. With her sense of structure, her organizational skills and her love of nature, she ensures that every safari runs smoothly from start to finish. Her passion for safari travel planning can be felt in every detail – whether it’s the choice of lodges, the itinerary or the personal attention. Happyness is service-oriented, attentive and always there for you with a smile. With her, every stage has its own rhythm and every trip has its own common thread. Julia – The Organizer with Focus
Julia is co-founder of Wildfinder and the woman with the checklist. Always. Whether on her laptop, in her notebook or on her cell phone – she makes sure that everything runs smoothly before you even think about what needs to happen. With her passion for nature, animals and clearly structured processes, she works in the background on every single step – from the first inquiry to the last day of travel. Her checklists are legendary, her demand for quality uncompromising. As an experienced Africa traveler, she knows what distinguishes a good safari from a great one. With a passion for animal welfare and a keen sense of what guests really need, she creates experiences that touch people and work perfectly.
