Day 1: Transfer to Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our team. Your adventure begins with a transfer to Arusha, a lively city at the foot of the majestic Mount Meru. Upon arrival, relax in your accommodation and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this charming city while you prepare for the safari experiences to come.
Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park + game drive
Today your journey takes you to Tarangire National Park, known for its impressive elephant population and picturesque landscapes. Enjoy an exciting game drive through the park and look out for elephants, lions, leopards and a variety of bird species. Experience the untouched wilderness of Tarangire and feel the magic of the African savannah.
Day 3: Game drive in Tarangire National Park and drive to Karatu
Enjoy another game drive in Tarangire National Park and delve even deeper into the park’s fascinating wildlife. After the safari, the journey continues to Karatu, a charming town on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater. Relax in your accommodation and enjoy the picturesque surroundings while you look forward to the coming days.
Day 4: Full day visit to the Ngorongoro Crater
Today we visit the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most impressive natural wonders. Explore the crater’s rich wildlife, including lions, rhinos, buffalo and a variety of antelope species. Enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the crater’s stunning scenery before heading back to Karatu in the afternoon.
Day 5: Return to Arusha and flight to Zanzibar
After breakfast, you say goodbye to Karatu and make your way back to Arusha. From there, you fly to Zanzibar, where unforgettable days of relaxation and exploration await you.
Day 6-8: Zanzibar - Relaxation and exploration
Spend the next few days exploring and relaxing on the paradise island of Zanzibar. Discover the historical sights of Stone Town, relax on the white sandy beaches, explore the colorful coral reefs while snorkeling and enjoy the delicious local cuisine. Explore the island’s spice plantations and immerse yourself in the fascinating culture and history of Zanzibar.
Day 9: Farewell to Zanzibar and journey home
After unforgettable days in Zanzibar, it is time to say goodbye to this paradise island and return home. Enjoy a final breakfast on the beach before being taken to the airport to catch your return flight, with countless memories of an unforgettable trip through Tanzania and Zanzibar.
